Disruptive Media Learning Lab

On the 6th of June 2019 the Faculty of Business and Law will be hosting the first EduHack event at Coventry University, with a focus on creating more authentic ways of assessing students’ learning.

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to work in groups and envision solutions to that overall challenge by following a structured approach based on design thinking principles while drawing on information, resources and opportunities identified over the previous weeks.

The day will start at 9.00 a.m. at the Disruptive Media Learning Lab, on the third floor of the Lanchester Library, and after the initial introduction participants will split into groups and move other venues depending on the projects they aim to develop throughout the day.

At the end of the day, everybody will reconvene at DMLL again to present the results of group works.

The aim is that by the end of the day you will have an authentic assessment which can be built into your module/course delivery for 2019/20.
